Robin Riggs joined the Salt Lake Chamber in 2003. He is responsible for the Chamber's public policy advocacy and government affairs. He is the lead lobbyist for all Chamber initiatives at all levels of government -- federal, state, and local -- and coordinates all political activities of the Chamber.
Robin also serves as in-house counsel for the Chamber, handling all legal matters from contract review to litigation coordination. He serves as a the liaison for the Chamber on a number of community boards.
Before joining the Chamber, Robin was Utah President of Qwest. Before that he was General Counsel to Utah Governor Mike Leavitt and Associate General Counsel for the Utah Legislature. He also owns a consulting firm, is a partner in a commercial development business, and manages his family's land holding company.
He received his B.A. from the University of Utah and his J.D. and M.P.A from Brigham Young University.
