International Business Accomplishments

World Bank – With support of WTCU, the Salt Lake Chamber formalized a relationship with the World Bank Group to act as the state’s Private Sector Liaison Officer.
The relationship will help businesses throughout the western United States gain access to projects funded
by the World Bank in developing countries.
Forging connections with Asia – WTCU hosted the inaugural Utah-China Business Forum with participation of over 300 prominent Chinese business and government leaders.
In conjunction with the National Governors Association annual conference, WTCU hosted governors of the Chinese provinces Anhui, Yunnan, Qinghai and the Party Secretary from Zhejiang Province, representing 178 million
Chinese citizens.
WTCU and USTAR facilitated the U.S.– Korea Science and Technology Forum in Park City, with participation of over 800 Korean technology specialists.
